What a wonderful surprise it was to see this family again! I can remember when big brother was just a lil guy and their shoot at the beach was one of my all time favs!

So sweet to see brother and sister so loving to one another! ( could you come over and rub some of that off on my kids?)

Beautiful night, beautiful lighting that afternoon too! I love this time of year seems the sun is just a little bit more golden too.

Here is to family love… family bonding and just being together!

I was so happy to finally get to photograph this family in whole… including the dog even!

These girls are so easy to photograph. So beautiful and oh…. those perfect smiles.

I know that mom has been wanting to do a shoot with me for awhile now and I am so pleased with it

as well as how amazing it looks in the park we used.

Now with all this rain we had the last few days it should perk up and get a bit greener as well as a few more flowers to pop up!

I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed seeing you all together and how happy you all are as a family.

There is something so sweet about 2 brothers. They will always have a forever friend. No matter how mean kids at school can be… you always have that one guy you can count on who will love you no matter what. That is just why I think there are brothers.

I was too honored that this family drove ALL the way from Lancaster to see me! I said “oh are you visiting family while you are here?” she says NO…

That made my day!

Thank you so much for thinking of Me to do this documenting for you… Such an honor!

I love to see boys loving their moms… and boys just LOVE their mommies so much!

what do you get when you take a 2 year old boy to the park? A work out. Yes lots of running around and chasing. They certainly are not going to stand there and smile for you. NOPE.

These sessions are all about peek a boo… I am gonna get you’s, and this lil one likes the fake sneezes. Too cute :)  This lil guy LOVES his basket ball and is truly ALL boy 100%

We did good considering the park was so crowded with people being it was the 1st day of great weather weekend of the year.

I really hope in my later years this is something I can still do. I suppose keeping fit and strong is the only option!

Here is to this lil boy… funny, sporty, busy and happy!

I had the honor of photographing this beautiful family a week ago… Their kids go to school with mine and have known them from around school for quite sometime. I always see mom dropping off, and say hello… so it was nice that when they were in need of a photographer they called me.

This was a very special photo shoot as soon Ava ( the lil one in the bunch) will be going thru chemo and possibly loose her hair. I know… its hard to say, let alone believe someone you know that is so active and healthy, has cancer. Not one day goes by where she is not on my mind.

Every night my family and I lay in our bed together and pray for her. She is a fighter and certainly going to beat this. She has an amazing family so full of love, and constant support that she will be herself in no time. So here is to you Ava… your a fighter… strong, full of joy. I know that one day you will look back at this time and know the whole “why” of it all. I know that you have certainly touched my life… made my heart bigger just by knowing you.

God bless you all!

xoxoxo

Its been quite a few ( maybe 5-6) years now that we have talked about doing a family photo shoot with ALL 5 of them in the photos. Well it finally happened! I always say just book it far enough ahead so that you all know this is the date and we are DOING IT!!!

Well Evan is off to college now. I cant believe  it… seems like yesterday he was just at middle school! Time flies too fast. here I go again saying that   uggh!!!!

I am so thrilled that we were able to get this done as well as Evan’s senior photo shoot at the same time. It was a beautiful day as well as you cant beat the mission. Its always amazing there. One of my favorite spots to shoot :)

When Angeli called to book a shoot for her whole family since it had been…. {one of the kids said since they were 9 years old,}

I was so happy to be the one to do it for them.

I have known Angeli before I had kids in the days where my husband who is friends with her used to play golf together.

I miss those days…. With life so busy we all don’t get to play much I am sure. Speaking of busy how fun is having 3 grand daughters!!!

I hear that their favorite place is American girl store, what grandma can resist spoiling these 3 sweet ones in such a fabulous store.

Any how… family is what it is all about. I hope that I have given you great memories together on this day.

I had to add… Angeli had mentioned that her son was a photographer… I was ok ( isn’t everyone these days?)

Well all I have to say is WOW. WOW. WOW. I was more than impressed looking at his blog I just have to share.

I have to say how inspired I was, how beautifully he see things and it really made me think that I need to shoot for myself again.

Thank you for having me document this time for you all when TRULY you could have had anyone do this for you all and you chose me.

So thank you!!!!

Its only been a year…. how they change. I think they change more in the first year of life more than any other time.

The C family are about to welcome another BOY here in a few months. I am all for having kids close together. Hard at the start, but in the long run they are good friends.. despite the sibling rivalry.

Whew!!!! thats everyday in my house :-/

I cant wait to meet baby brother and photograph all 3 together!!!   OHHHH too cute.

These 2 have sweet personalities, and seem to know they are twins. There were lots of great shots

and I am so happy for mom and dad who were saying that they dont care for the camera and run from it when it is out.

This is usual but its also different when its MOM or DAD taking the photos as to going to a special place and playing around with me!

So here is to hiring a PROFESSIONAL someone who has been doing this thing for MANY years and knows what to do…

so mom and dad can relax and know its just going to “happen”

Thank you to the C family!!! xoxoxo

OH I just love this one… Just a random shot of mommy just admiring her boys…

These are always my favorite how they interact with each other.. I love how he is touching his brother so sweetly.

First family session of the year, officially 2013. I have been busy that week after Christams as families are in town so that makes it a perfect time to book an extensive family shoot. A bit tardy with the images going up on this one… but I think its worth the wait.

I was amazed with the brothers eyes…I am sure that he hears that all the time. But what a great color they are. they almost glow. How fun for sister to have a big brother who can give piggy back rides and you are able to really play hard with him

knowing he wont just haul off and give you a big whack like my kids do!

I dont think that kids realize when they are so close in age that you can really hurt someone. It was so sweet to see how big brother was with her.  It shows how protective he is with her,too cute!

Despite the cold it really was a beautiful night… you could see Catalina so clear.

Hope you enjoy the images!

This shoot has been a long time coming… I know how important it is to get your mom and siblings together for a photo shoot as life goes way too fast.

The sun was amazing even though it has been cold… we as Californian’s think this is cold, however take a visit to the local beaches to see the people from out of town in shorts enjoying the 60 degree weather.

Then we may think how blessed we are to live here. I have been photographing these kids forever… I mean like 10 years or so. Its funny to see them once love it to now it becoming a chore.

Only the boys it seems… the girls however seem to love it more and more as they grow older.

Thank you for this beautiful opportunity to get you all together. Jason… well… sorry you got caught at work (wink wink) I really missed you.
