Nothing in this world compares to the love that one has for their child.

You can just see it on this moms face. The whole shoot was a look of adoration for this lil one. OHHH what a chunker this one is!!! I love love love chunky babies!!!

It was a great shoot and a beautiful day. Tender moments captured forever. I know when I look back at this time when my kids were this age I just wish I could go back for a bit to squeeze them up.

So squeeze them up as much as you can!!!! Once they grow its harder to get them in your lap for cuddle times.

NOT that I did not totally love newborn stage.. I just remember how EXHAUSTING it was is all.

I am crazy in love with this lil one…. She is Maggie who works for me lil girl Charlotte. Maggie has 2 boys and then we all were hoping for the 3 a girl and well… well… she is SO girl.

I think she has more clothes and head accessories than anybody I know. Oh and how cute she looks in everything. I am just in love.

So here is to chubby butts, huge grins, and girls!

What a wonderful surprise it was to see this family again! I can remember when big brother was just a lil guy and their shoot at the beach was one of my all time favs!

So sweet to see brother and sister so loving to one another! ( could you come over and rub some of that off on my kids?)

Beautiful night, beautiful lighting that afternoon too! I love this time of year seems the sun is just a little bit more golden too.

It was so great to see this family after a few years! Its now time for sister to go off to high school!

She really is so beautiful and how great do they all look?

We had a good time here this day… I love to see families laugh together and you just know that they really have fun just being together.

Who cant resist the love between a mom and her son? That one just melted me.

I just love the mission. It truly is one of my fav places to shoot. Spring is always great here, however with all the garden angels

as they call the volunteers who tend to the gardens it pretty much stays nice all year.

The fee to shoot here is just $50 since I am a member. So if you are looking for that special place this just might be it!

These girls are so easy to photograph. So beautiful and oh…. those perfect smiles.

I know that mom has been wanting to do a shoot with me for awhile now and I am so pleased with it

as well as how amazing it looks in the park we used.

Now with all this rain we had the last few days it should perk up and get a bit greener as well as a few more flowers to pop up!

After all they are only 12 or under. My Emily has been plating since she was 5 now, that makes it 7 years. I remember looking at the 12U girls and thinking that is going to be forever till she gets that big… now here we are, and WOW can these girls play. Play hard I might add… Stunning sometimes to see their athletic ability. This team is stacked with the leagues most top talent this year which means that we have won all games but 2.

I just loved this photo… shows how beautiful they are yet SO tough. So here is to girl power. Here is to being tough. Yet here is to still being silly enough to let us all know your still lil girls.

I was too honored that this family drove ALL the way from Lancaster to see me! I said “oh are you visiting family while you are here?” she says NO…

That made my day!

they have them about as long as I do in a day’s time.

SO really they deserve it! I really loved what I did for them last year as well as they did too :)

So here is how it went: I did tags to the 12 days of x-mas  song but did ” on the first day of teacher appreciation week my secret student gave to me….”

{unfortunately they all knew who it was } But oh well….

So  I made the gifts rhyme

Here is the list of where I got the items as well as how I made them:

The cookie jars are sprouts market

The clip boards just staples and I got the beautiful paper at paper source. I used spray adhesive.

The something really yummy day… you can do anything but last year I did chocolate dipped pretzels.

The next day easy… coffee shop gift card. What teacher does not like coffee?

Then the last day I made a small book that I bound with just a ring clip and had my kids write 5 things they loved about their teacher.

So there you are… something for all 5 days if you wish to bless your teachers.

A work out. Yes lots of running around and chasing. They certainly are not going to stand there and smile for you. NOPE.

These sessions are all about peek a boo… I am gonna get you’s, and this lil one likes the fake sneezes. Too cute :)  This lil guy LOVES his basket ball and is truly ALL boy 100%

We did good considering the park was so crowded with people being it was the 1st day of great weather weekend of the year.

I really hope in my later years this is something I can still do. I suppose keeping fit and strong is the only option!

I always see mom dropping off, and say hello… so it was nice that when they were in need of a photographer they called me.

This was a very special photo shoot as soon Ava ( the lil one in the bunch) will be going thru chemo and possibly loose her hair. I know… its hard to say, let alone believe someone you know that is so active and healthy, has cancer. Not one day goes by where she is not on my mind.

Every night my family and I lay in our bed together and pray for her. She is a fighter and certainly going to beat this. She has an amazing family so full of love, and constant support that she will be herself in no time. So here is to you Ava… your a fighter… strong, full of joy. I know that one day you will look back at this time and know the whole “why” of it all. I know that you have certainly touched my life… made my heart bigger just by knowing you.
